Welcome back…let it SNOW!!!

Monday, November 30th, 2009

www.adventurefamilytrips.com WELCOMES you all back and we are all looking forward to a snowy season this year. So, far it has been delayed but we are optimistic that December will make up for the lack of precipitation!

We are going to be posting some great specials for familes traveling with children. Some of the featured destinations will include Camelback Mountain in Tannersville PA, Split Rock Resort which offers activites on premises & skiing at Jack Frost Mtn and Big Boulder Ski Resort, and last but not least… a favorite of mine and my childrens….Snowshoe WV. It is worth the trip and is much like Vail, CO on a smaller scale.

So, keep checking the site as we will continue with updates and hope the sky starts to deliver the white stuff and plenty of it!

Warmest Regards,

Kate Burnside

Pocono visit to Camelbeach Waterpark and Resort in Tannersville PA

Friday, May 29th, 2009

We went to visit Camelbeach Waterpark and Resort this past weekend for their Grand Opening. Thought the temps weren’t too warm, we had a great time. From the lazy river , to the wave pool, the boys had huge smiles! They also had a great time at Big Pocono Mining. I never thought mining for rocks in water would be of such interest. They didn’t want to leave! So …HINT TO PARENTS: don’t miss that attraction! My boys are 6 & 9 and were there for 20 minutes and more if I didn’t want to get back to the slides! It is perfect because it is right near the food so you can enjoy food and  drinks while you watch them dig for crystals & jewels.

We have Season Passes for only $89.oo available for a limited time and great discounts on general tickets. Call now to get your reservations and don’t forget they have lodging that is slopeside!
