We are going to be posting some great specials for familes traveling with children. Some of the featured destinations will include Camelback Mountain in Tannersville PA, Split Rock Resort which offers activites on premises & skiing at Jack Frost Mtn and Big Boulder Ski Resort, and last but not least… a favorite of mine and my childrens….Snowshoe WV. It is worth the trip and is much like Vail, CO on a smaller scale.

Pocono Whitewater on the Lehigh River in Jim Thorpe is having a Damn Release Weekend  9.5 & 9.6. I am going to be enjoying an early trip down the river on Saturday with my father to celebrate his birthday. We’d love to have some company! If you are looking for action and adventure…this is IT! 12 miles, 17 rapids, class III… all in around 5 hours. How else could you spend a Saturday or Sunday in September? Come on and get out there!
