Resort and Hotel Checklist

Before you go on your vacation make sure to call and ask if they have the following;

  • Portable crib, sheets, bumpers
  • Bed rails for toddlers
  • High chairs, booster seats
  • Hair Dryers
  • Pool Towels
  • Kitchen Supplies
  • Valet Parking
  • Concierge Service
  • General Parking

It is important to find out as much as you can from your agent or from the hotel/resort as possible before you arrive so that there are no surprises. You want to arrive in an orderly fashion so that there is no confusion. For example, some resort areas have Rental Shops that cater to families and supply play pens, strollers, high chairs and other items for young children. Therefore, you would not need to pack such items. Another big issue can be parking. Many resorts have valet parking and concierge service. If you are a single parent traveling with more than one child this can be an excellent service to take advantage of.
